NEWSLETTER 12^TH APRIL 2008

Hello to everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank everyone that came to our first show for the year.  Especially

 the competitors that travelled long distances.  We hope that it was worth the travel and that

 we will see you again next month.   Next show will be 27^th April , 2008 .  The judge will

 be Don Northey.

Congratulations to all of our winners.  The same Hi Point Awards will be in place for our

next 4 shows, as there will be no end of year Hi Point Awards.

Prizes will be given out at the next show.

FUNDRAISING

EAST COAST WESTERN PERFORMANCE CLUB

This is a new club that is just starting up.  The venue is Wauchope  Showground .

 They have facilities at the showground to stable your horse and camping is available.

 They have an undercover arena  with a sand base and lights are available so that you

 can ride at night.

The following dates have been booked for shows  May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17,

 September 21, October 18 and 19 (two day show) November 15 and 16 (two day show).

CANTEEN

A big thanks goes out to Mr and Mrs Chapman  and Scott  Jones for manning the canteen

 on Show day. I am sure that everyone would agree that all the food was just great on the

 day. Anyone with a  spare 5 or 10minutes that could help out on show days would be

 greatly appreciated .    

 DONATIONS

At the clubs last meeting it was passed in that all club member / families would be asked

 to make a $10.00 donation to go towards the clean-up days if they were not going to be

 attending the clean-up day. This donation would go towards the cost of having the grounds

 slashed by the tractor.

The club would also like to give a big THANKYOU to all that helped out to get the grounds

ready for our first show. This  help is greatly appreciated  and we again THANKYOU .

TRAVELLING STATEMENTS

Just a reminder about your  traveling statements. Please remember to bring 1 copies and

 bring it with you to the show so that we can record the number.

SHOW DAY MEETING

At the next show we will be holding a member/ competitors meeting to discuss two topics.

The meeting will be held at the Secretaries desk at MIDDAY.

1.       The program re: Changing some events around and

2.       The fencing in of the grounds.

            All entries for the next show must be submitted on line before 6pm on the Friday night

            before the show.

            Any entries after this time or on show day will incur a $10.00 late fee.
